Pudding cake

I came up with this pudding cake a couple of days ago. My cousin invited me over her place. Her family is not a big cake lover, but they make cakes when they have company. So, she called me to eat their left overs. I did feel a little bit like a piggy, but the things we do for the love of cake (hihi)...

She had some kind of layered cake, just some basic cake sheet and some poppy seed filling. The problem was that she put the cake in the freezer (I have no idea why) and it was pretty frozen and hard. So, I had to do something to make that cake edible. And then it hit me: pudding!
I made 2 puddings, one vanilla flavored and one caramel. I just put the hot pudding over the cake and voila! I made pudding cake...
The result was very delicious! Even my cousin (as I said she`s not a big cake eater) loved it!
The thing is, I don`t think I`ll be able do this at my place. We all love cake, and in 2-3 days top, there`s no sight of left overs.
I think you can do this with any left over cake. The only thing to remember is that the cake has to be a little hard. If you try this with a moist cake, the result won`t be the same.

I can assure you that this pudding cake was amazing!

    1. You can also try some normal biscuits and pudding. They soften very good when you put warm pudding on them !
